Palfinger Guide
Palfinger is a big name in knuckleboom cranes.
You will see PK model numbers on many used rigs.
Palfinger also sells a tree care package called Tree-Mek.
Tree-Mek is Palfinger's package name. It is not our brand.

What to check
- Read the full PK model number off the crane plate.
- Ask if it was built as a Tree-Mek package or set up later.
- Get the crane serial and hours.
- Ask for recent annual crane inspection papers.
- Check the remote control and its battery packs.
Financing notes
A newer crane on an older truck is common with PK cranes.
Show the crane year clearly. It can carry the deal.
